Things You Need To Know

Welcome to Crescent Ridge Home Delivery Service.  Here are a few things you might find helpful as a new Crescent Ridge customer, from ordering and billing to returning your glass bottles and more.  You'll also receive in the mail (if you haven't gotten it already) a New Customer Welcome Kit, which will provide additional information you'll need for future reference.--like your account number and delivery day--along with a few goodies to welcome you to the Crescent Ridge family.

Billing

  • To open your new Crescent Ridge account, we need either a valid credit card number on file, which you can provide by editing your profile settings, or a deposit of $25.00.  If you are paying by check, please leave your $25.00 deposit for your milkman on your first delivery day.  (Make checks payable to "Crescent Ridge.")  This $25.00 will appear as a credit towards your first order.
  • Billing is done on a weekly basis.  Each bill reflects the prior week's order.
  • Please review your bill carefully.  If you find an error, contact Crescent Ridge immediately and we will make every effort to correct it.  You can reach our billing department by calling 1-800-660-2740, extension 101 or 105.
  • Your payment is expected each week: if you do not pay by credit card, simply leave a check and your driver will pick it up when making your weekly delivery.  Your milkman's pay is based on sales and collections, so please be sure to pay your bill promptly.
  • If you send your payment by mail, please write your account number on your check to ensure your payment is credited accordingly.
  • Payments can also be made by Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT), which allows payments to be deducted directly from your checking or savings account--and you can even save $1.00 off your weekly delivery fee.  Find out more about EFT today.

Ordering

  • Crescent Ridge has been around long before the internet was even an idea, so we have lots of different ways to order.
  • But no matter how you order, all orders must be received by 11:59pm, the night before your scheduled delivery day.
  • Online: For fast, easy ordering, you can shop online 24 hours a day.
  • By Phone: We also take phone orders; simply call Crescent Ridge at 1-800-660-2740.  Or, you can place an order by leaving a message on our automated message system.  Please be sure to leave your name and account number on the message.
  • By Fax or Order Form: You can also fill out one of our old-fashioned paper order forms and fax it to us at 781-784-8446.  Or, simply leave your completed order for your milkman and he will fill your order when he stops by your house.
  • Many of our current customers like to set up a Standing Order with items they buy on a regular basis.  In the event you forget to place your weekly order, these items will be delivered to you automatically.

Products & Pricing

  • Crescent Ridge works hard to select products made to the highest standards of quality, from vendors we trust.  If you are ever dissatisfied with a product purchased from us, please contact Crescent Ridge Customer Service at 1-800-660-2740 and we will make every effort to replace it to your satisfaction.
  • A complete list of our current products and prices is available on our website and printed price list in available upon request.
  • Prices are subject to change without notice.
  • A minimum order of $7.50 is required for delivery, plus an additional $4.00 delivery fee.

Delivery & Storage

  • All products purchased from Crescent Ridge need to kept cool and refrigerated as soon as possible.  We will be happy to work with you to find the delivery option that best suits your situation.
  • All deliveries need to be placed in a picnic type cooler.  You may already own a cooler that will be sufficient for your delivery.  Or you can purchase a Vintage Crescent Ridge Milk Box from us for $40.00.
  • To further protect your purchases, we highly recommend placing cold freezer packs in the cooler prior to delivery.  On extremely hot days, as well as extremely cold days, it is important to bring your groceries inside as soon as you can.  Whenever possible, your cooler or Milk Box should be placed in a shaded place, out of direct sunlight.
  • Many of our customers have extra refrigerators in their garage, where deliveries can be placed.  This is an ideal delivery location for Crescent Ridge products.  If you have an Access Code, please call us at 1-800-660-2740 so we can make the proper arrangements with your milkman.
  • You may also request that your driver bring your delivery into your home and place it directly into your refrigerator.
  • Please contact Crescent Ridge, or contact your driver, to make arrangements for your delivery.

Holidays & Vacations

  • We deliver on most holidays without changing your delivery schedule.
  • Changes are made for Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year's Day.  You will be notified of any delivery changes by our driver.  Changes are also posted on our website, as well as on our phone system.
  • If you schedule a Standing Order, please be cancel the specific future order before going on vacation by visiting your My Account page.  Or please call our Customer Service Department at 1-800-660-2760 to notify us.  If you leave a message, please remember to leave your name, address, account number and route number, along with the day of your delivery.

Bottle Returns

  • All of our milk is packaged in glass bottles to insure the absolute best taste possible.  Glass bottles are also better for the environment because they are reusable and recyclable.  Please return all Crescent Ridge milk bottles to Crescent Ridge.
  • Be sure to remove the caps and rinse out your bottles before leaving them for your driver to pick up.
  • Upon return, all bottles are thoroughly washed, sterilized and inspected before getting another chance to hold delicious, small batch crafted Crescent Ridge milk.
