Crescent Ridge Farm, a dairy delivering to the residents and schools of Sharon. In those days there were dozens of farms in Sharon and Southeastern Massachusetts. The Crescent Ridge milk that was delivered to the school children was delivered in ½ pint glass bottles. Ice cold and fresh.
Patriots Day enacted as an official holiday in both Massachusetts and Maine. Coin-operated motion picture machines introduced in New York City. The first automobile race is held in France as 100 autos race from Paris to Rouen. |

Crescent Ridge Farm is purchased by Malby and Mildred Parrish and renamed Crescent Ridge Dairy. Malby Parrish clears the land on his 44 acres to make room for additional dairy cows and crops.
FDR elected to first of four terms in office. Babe Ruth calls his shot in World Series against Cubs. Babe Didrikson stars at the Summer Olympic Games in Los Angeles. Wallace Berry (The Champ) and Fredric March (Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde) tie for "Best Actor" at the 5th annual Academy Awards. |

The Finnergan Farm is purchased to allow for more cows and to raise hay and corn silage for feed. Milk processing grows to 325 quarts per day and a second milk truck is added to the delivery fleet.
Fire at Boston's Cocoanut Grove nightclub kills 492 people, becoming the deadliest nightclub fire in United States history. Red Sox star Ted Williams enlists as a Navy aviator. Gasoline rationing using coupons begins. First gold record ever awared to Glen Miller for Chattanooga Choo Choo. |

Boston Braves move to Milwaukee prior to the 1953 season. Brockton's Rocky Marciano knocks out Jersey Joe Walcott to win heavyweight title. The worst tornado in New England history hits Worcester, killing 94 people. The first network television broadcast in color takes place in Boston. |

Crescent Ridge Dairy Bar opened on July 10th and has become one of New England's most popular and award-winning ice cream stands.
Simon & Garfunkel's Mrs. Robinson hits number one on the charts. Boston Celtics win their 10 or 11 championships during the Bill Russell era. Patriots Day changed to coincide with the running of the Boston Marathon. "60 Minutes" premieres on CBS. |

Crescent Ridge expands and acquires some of the personnel, equipment and routes of Fisher Dairy, Whiting Milk Company and Needham Dairy. Closing of dairies brings many new customers to Crescent Ridge.
President Nixon, in response to energy crisis, lowers maximum speed limit to 55 mph. Da-dum, da-dum, da-dum Jaws, filmed on Martha's Vineyard, smashes the box office and terrorizes the beaches in 1975. Carlton Fisk hits the left-field foul pole to win game 6 of the 1975 World Series.
